The rules you work inside
Privacy, confidential information and whose knowledge it is, as they apply in New Zealand workplaces.
What stays your job
What to hand to AI, what to keep, and what you sign off as your own.
Practical exercises on your own work
Short tasks you do on real work or study of your own, with feedback as you go.
The certificate is a certificate of completion from AI New Zealand. It is not NCEA and carries no credits.
How you get it
- Your school opens a free School account. A teacher or the principal does this.
- You go to your school's page and sign in with your school email address. We email you an 8-digit code; there is no password.
- You work through the course at your own pace, on your own or with your class.
Your school decides who takes part.

For teachers
Teachers take the course first, also free. AI New Zealand assesses your final assessment. Once you have passed, your school can nominate you to assess your students' final assessments, and you can lead the course with a group or a class.
